daniel3417
September 16, who's gonna win it? Siegel has dominated at 2 of the last 3, but Tullahoma got it last year. What's the deal for '06?

THSMGR
I may be a little biased on Tullahoma but their show this year is really good. No glitz and glamour just really good music and marching.
herefortheband
all i got to see was first 4 bands from class A (i had to go back to the trailor to change into uniform for awards) so i missed tullahomas show. it sounded awesome from the trailor though! btw, voiceofrockets, whose band are you with?? daniel3417
I'm band captain at Siegel. Of course since we lost I'm going to say this, but we simply didn't have a very good performance. Tullahoma definitely got us this time. Sept. 23 in Columbia will be a rematch, and should be a really good day. Come if you can!! P.S. - Not a single band scored in the 90s...so no one really was awesome, but in another week...there will be paint flying off the bleachers! Being a former member of the award winning Coffee County Central High School band from 1999-2001, I would like to wish each and every band out there good luck throughout the marching season. If ya'll are like me, I absolutley loved marching band! I know that this year's Coffee Co. band is nothing compared to what I was in, not taking anything away from them, but they can do much better. If Mr. Damewood was still directing the band, they probably would be. I think Coffee County's show needs a little more excitement to it. Just like we always did in my high school days...like for instance my senior year our show was called Latin Persuasion, and our opener was Malaguana *sp* we started off with a blast. There wasn't many awards that we never won. I'm glad though that Coffee County did well in the guard. The guard from my time in highschool was a weak link, but we never let them hold us back from playing our hearts out and actually caring about what we played. I think there's just too much playing around this year. On to Tullahoma.....what can I say, they always have awsome shows, this year is no exception. Just wish I could of heard it better at the Coffee Pot game. I would love just to one day judge a competition. I was on the drumline so that's where I would be stronger at judgeing. Anyways, again Good Luck to each and every band this year!!!

I played for Fairview from 92 to96. Now I'm just a football announcer on TV who still loves Marching/jazz/dci/concert bands. I try to follow Forrest though.
