well both of you need to go back and look closley i have already admitted crockett was better than i thought but if they played 5 times dyersburg would win 3 of them but enough about dyersburg that made crocketts season revinging a loss but you better wory about ripley because their d-fence is the best in the region

What happen to the Ripley Defense you were talking about?? If I'm not mistaken Crockett had about 410 + yds of offense :D to Ripley 120 yds offense.....

HSSF is a referee...what does he know about football? :D He hasn't said anything on this board that has come true yet. Like D'burg running up the score on PA and the Cavs, then lose by 14 and Ripley D holding Crockett down and then give up 35. No disrespect to either fans, just proving that HSSF is wrong more than right. :D

Couldn't go to the game but listened to all of it on the radio. Sounded like the Cavalier D was simply too much for the Ripley offense and that the Cav offense simply pounded and pounded away at Ripley's D. Ball control won this game. Great job all night by the Cavs on 3rd down. It didn't sound pretty but I'll take a 28 point region win on the road anytime.

Crockett Co has gone on the road and beaten Obion Co 42-7 and now Ripley 35-7...They are taking care of business and realistically the only team with a shot at the Cavs between now and an undefeated season is Covington on 10-20 in Covington.............You have to play the games, but this Cavalier bunch is very good and I see them heading into the playoffs at 10-0......

I hear ya!... and even at that 80% of fans were predicting a close game. 35-7 is NOT close... I guess what it comes down to is lack of respect for our team... we now have D-burg and Ripley under our belts.. but we should eventually get everyones respect... one CAV win at a time. :D

Crockett County has earned about everyone`s respect. However there are 2 other West TN 3A teams that loom out there on the Cavalier horizon. Covington and Southside are also very strong. I think CC will beat Covington, but Southside is going to be a real challenge.

Southside is the least of our worries right now. In fact we are not worried at all because as you know the only game that the two teams are gonna have a chance to play each other in is round four......um thats a bit too far down the road for us or southside to look. NO ONE IS WORRIED. As far is Covington.....i believe they are a good team and i believe will be Crocketts biggest challenge yet. But i have been preaching all along that this is a strong region top to bottom. I fear the Haywood game most of all solely because they are yet to win a game. I hope my cavs dont go in there and see this team as a Manassas or an Oakhaven because this team is solid(i believe they will play Obion hard in the upcoming game.......they are still in the regional fight for fourth place and they have there backs to the wall.........this is usallly when "cats" come out swinging for their lives so we will see) I cant wait to see how this folds out.

I was just looking down the road. Good for Crockett County if they aren`t worried about that yet. But I`m seeing a SS/CC matchup later on.

    • Best-of-three sectional series vs East Robertson at home starting Wednesday.  They put us out last year at this point.  Go Pirates!!
    • I don't believe they have anyone that is surbers caliber but a decent staff overall.

    • Congratulations to the Warrior baseball team winning the Region Championship.  Last night the football team beat Franklin Co 33-0 in their spring scrimmage. Warriors looked very good. Missing a few players who were playing baseball but still absolutely dominated. A lot of young ones got in halfway through the 3rd when the score reached 33-0. QB Tilton Pickett looked very sharp.  Sam Pickett is on another level this season. Seems to have put on 15 to 20 lbs in the off season and added a step as well. Transfer from last year Williamson caught numerous balls and is very elusive. Lots of athletes on this team. Defense was smothering and will only get better. The head coach from Sewanee was in attendance and offered 2 kids after the game. Could be a special year.
