Walker Valley at Rhea County

Inorder for the the 3-5 defense to work, you have to blitz every play. Dobyns Bennett runs this defense and is very good at it. They blitz every play. If you play base defense running a 3-5 you will not be able to a downhill running game like McMinn and Ooltewah. Rhea will handle WV easily. WV is horrible.... Losing to Bradley like that.. Come on!

 

Very true they did get beat by Bradley, even though bradley has improved some.

 

Oh and somebody that also runs 3-5-3 very well is #4 ranked West Virginia ,and they blitz almost every play also.

You hit it on the head blitz it can be affective if you sit back its terrible imo!!!!!!

Good game Eagles. Sorry guys but the defense still is getting to me. Anyone know the final running yards for WV? I'd say close too two hundred. Team looked sluggish for the second week in a row. Playing three 5A schools in five weeks along with the Brainard game will do that or at least I hope thats it. Hats off to McMinn though beating OAk Ridge makes us look a little better. I was listening to the Cleveland radio station on the way home and I heard the funniest thing. The announcers all agreed Clev. would beat Red Bank next week because they had proven themselves each week especially tonight by shutting down a power house offense like Centrals!!!!!!!!! Anyone else hear that? Chatt central right? Oh my. Anyway a Walker Valley player had to be air lifted tonight anyone know what it was and lets keep this topic going til we find out how he is.

I find out what had happen the player (I didn't get a name)but he got hit and got a concussion and then he started having real bad seizures so they called in life-force and he is now at Erlanger.
