Trousdale has a tremendous football history. You better look at the record this 1A team has had playing in 3A ball. They lost to the eventual state champion Fulton I think two years in a row. They decided to play up and were very competitive. Trousdale Co. has not been a Qeen by any means. Although this year they are having a down year it don't happen much. Most teams would never schedule Trousdale Co. for a Homecoming game. That would be like Scott Co. scheduling Catholic, or Fulton for Homecoming.

Man Double L, i was just messing. But for your information, if I'm not mistaking, AE beat Trousdale in the playoffs in 2001 on their way to the State Title...

Your not mistaken AE beat us in the semis in knoxville and went on to win the gold ball. Man were they fast. Awesome team to watch that year. I loved watching there corners they played tight man to man coverage all night and were like a blanket on our receivers. It was like watching Deion Sanders in his younger days. Those boys were badd!

I was just stating if you read my post that Trousdale Co. is no Queen. They were playing two leagues up. They should have played A ball and chose to play AAA.

I used Scott because they were discussing the Scott AE score. How many times did Scott Co. beat Fulton in the 90's. Can you name how many times in 10 years that Scott Co. beat Fulton. I don't have a problem with Scott Co. until folks like yourself and a couple of others act as if the Highlanders have had much success in this decade or last, and put other schools and leagues down. I try to only state facts that I know about. I did not intend to use Scott Co in negative situation, but it did seem to come out that way. I do wish the Highlanders much success.

By the way I have never lost a game to the Highlanders.

Good luck the Wildcats and Roadrunners.

Beep Beep!! This will be a revenge game from last year.. LA knocked AE out of the playoffs on their way to the State title last year. Therefore, AE will have that in the back of their minds looking to give LA something to regret for knocking them out.

AE will probably be without starting QB, Jarren Troutman due last weeks game injury. I don't know any details for his injury because I'm still trying to find out. But like many of you have said, this is AE's Homecoming and it's not like AE losing on Homecoming so Let's GO AE!!

I think your right, it will be a game of revenge...last year at this same time, Livingston played AE for their homecoming, and lost, by a touchdown. So this time I think Livingston will win, not by much, but by at least a touchdown! GO LA! :D

IF im not mistaken, 93, 94, 97, and 98 and maybe 99 i dunno for sure but i think im right. Scott was dominate from the 70's to the late 90's (most of the time)

    • They’ve both gotten worse. I’ve seen enough games to know that.
    • The only two transfers that Bearden has gotten that went on to play college football were a defensive back from Karnes, who transferred here way before the new coaching staff got here, and a running back from Carter, who went on to play at Maryville College. Both players received those offers while at Bearden, and both players got a diploma from Bearden High School. Therefore, they are Bearden kids, and you can’t do anything about that.   The transfer from Seymour didn’t win the job, what do you expect two quarterbacks to start at the same time? He played great on JV when he could stay healthy, and when he came in on varsity, he did great. The quarterback position is definitely going to be in good hands when the current starting quarterback leaves, but until then, they’re just going to be battling it out like every good quarterback competition does. The current starting quarterback has his flaws, and that is in the pass game, but what he doesn’t have flaws is running and scrambling, and if you go back and watch any game, which I’m sure you didn’t watch any, we used him very often, and when we needed a deep ball, we brought in the transfer from Seymour. The starting quarterback last year will be a senior this year, and the Seymour transfer will be a junior, so the Seymour transfer is definitely going to get his spotlight. He may even win the job this year. Football isn’t about who the newspaper thinks is the best kid. The best kid in the position will win the starting job, and I trust the coaching staff more than a newspaper or article to pick my starting QB.
    • I mean, we’ve only gotten two transfers that went on to play college football, one who went to UT Martin came his second semester junior year before the new coaching staff was here, and the other one went on to play at Maryville College, in which I don’t believe he had any interest prior to transferring.
    • An FYI: To see how an opponent has done against another opponent since 2001- go to the game by clicking on one of the teams. Click the G beside the game. For example, Milan: The info will show you the previous matchups and other info.
    • All these college signees went yo other schools for 3 years, were getting college offers then transferred to Bearden. It’s not like this staff did much to develop them.    The BBall coaches son and the Seymour transfer were some of the most talented QBs in the region, and you guys developed them into QBs who might complete one pass a game.
