How about them Cowboys?

Recommended Posts

The only bright spot-

At least it wasn't as bad as the 33-0 beat down the 'boys got by the Titans on Christmas before a national audience a few years back.

At least we have the Raiders

True, LOL. I was there that very, very, cold day. Temp. about 17 + windchill.....

....Wind N. about 20mph. Like to have froze to death. Nothing warm in the concessions stand

to eat. Got a large coke to sip on...froze beneath my feet!!

But we got our butts handed to us on a platter! :thumb:

Update on my Cowboys; just to keep it fair & balanced.....We stunk up the place @ Philly

yesterday. The O' line apparently missed the plane. Defense played well at times, and at

times lousy. Special teams about the same. And of course, then these's T.O. Complaining

on the sideline about not getting the ball to him. Dropped it when they did!

Safe to say the flight back was not a happy time.

Cowboys would be better off without Owens

Owens is one of the best 5 WR's in the NFL, even with all the issues he has going on his head. He is a playmaker, no matter how you look at it. He adds a lot to any team he is on.

Afraid I can't argue that LOL.......the 12th player isn't always the crowd

Agreed, popular opinion says T.O. is one of the best, I can't see where he has contributed

all that much to the "Boy" yet. Still the same old T.O.....me....me....me....me..

Well you have to have someone who can get him the ball. Bledsoe's time has past him, I hate to say it. He looked awful yesterday, especially in clutch time. TO can change a game, but he has to be able to get the ball.

I'm not a Bledsoe fan but that OLINE gave him up many times. He should have come out dressed like a punching bag. However, if the receiver has two or three guys hanging all over him.........THROW THE BALL AWAY YOU IDIOT!!!

    • A lot of people don’t realize how valuable JMO was. QB, safety, punter and holder on pat’s. Kid did it all. I fully believe if he was healthy Dburg would have made it to the ship last year.
    • If Dyersburg quarterback who is also starting safety hadn’t got hurt it would of another blowout
    • For perspective the county school I’m associated and graduated from only has 7,600 people in the entire county with a median age of roughly 47. That’s not very many 14-18 year olds to choose from. I think the football team had 25-28 kids or around there.  On the other hand Shelby County has 916,000+ with a median age of 36. This isn’t just about Shelby county, but all the big ones with huge economic advantages!  An urban/rural split would benefit tons of smaller schools that have to compete with counties with 120x the amount of people. Especially the ones who can pick and choose their players from a pool like that!   I also agree with Pujo about charter and magnets and they will eventually be phased into the private divisions because it is obviously an advantage plus all the funding! Add that county schools can’t go recruit outside of their county like charters and magnets!
    • They should be starting next week and go from there.  They never do Spring Practice in April
