devilbacker33
Well I would like to wish Adam a speedy recovery from the Jellico Blue Devils. Ever since our game with Hampton I have logged onto coacht just to look at what Adam did against whatever team he may hvae been playing that week. When I walked off the field friday night @ Cloudland and my parents told me what had happened I was utterly awestruck, I could not believe what I heard! But I would just like to wish Adam a speedy recovery, and good luck to the rest of the Hampton Bulldogs! And a very classy post started here by Cosby's coach! Good Luck Adam!! Geno
This coming from a older Pirate fan. We have heard of Adam for awhile now, very seldom does a player have this much Impact on teams they may or may not meet in the playoff's.. But i can tell you this much. Adam im sure didn't get to were he was in football without a Big heart weither its on his sleeve or not. Kids Like that comes along every once in awhile, and the respect he has EARNED by many fan's and players and coach's is just a testimony to his character.. I do believe after reading this thread Adam will have no trouble coming back and possibly even better football carrer, How could he not with all the support and prayer's. To 'momma' Townsend sounds like your a Mother that show's her love and support to her children that is a site to behold.. so you beholding him close till he is ready..... Again this spitt fan will be routing for 2 out comes this year God Bless! Edited October 12, 2006 by Geno

triathlete
One thing I would like to see is Adam play in the East ,West game. four players from Cloudland has played in this game and Mike Lunsford helped coach the East. This could really give Adam some motivation to get on with the program. Talk to the coaches and see what can be done. We could all get to see Adam on the big screen. Hey Pujo, what east-west game is that? I don't think i've ever heard of it?

volunteergirl10
Please keep Adam in your thoughts and prayers tonight as I am sure this evening will be a rough one for him since he won't be able to get to the game! We all know Adam was a great motivator and they will for sure miss him tonight! Our whole family wishes Adam a speedy recovery and hope to once again see him dressed out and on the field to play.....wheter it be this year or in college. Dude, you have made the whole family proud of you what you have accomplished this far. Heck, I don't think grandma has ever been excited about a football game until you came along. And, we all know that it won't be the end of the road for ya!

Oh yeah! You know.....I don't think she had even been to ball game before last year. She has always thought the world of Adam though. She even asked the kids to pray for him in church Sunday so that he could heal faster and get back to playing the sport that he loves so much. I kind of grinned when I heard her say that. She has really enjoyed watching him more this year I guess than last. She's picking up quickly on that game lingo fast! Are you heading to the game tonight?
