No disrespect to the Jackson Sun, but they made it sound like Jontamion Forrest was the only player out there. Ken James had a much better night last night than Forrest did. The defensive line stripped the ball I think three times. This defense isn't getting enough credit. Liberty's defense was all over Forrest all night........where were the offensive lineman for SS?

Well South Side did a good job stopping Liberty last night. But they better watch out because next week, Bolivar is going to be a tougher team. Will Bolivar be the one to stop South Side? If Bolivar can't stop South Side, then South Side will be undefeated.

Forrest had 195 and 3 TD on 23 carries...an average of 8.5 a tote.

 

I was there for the 1st half, and Liberty did a good job containing him on occasion. Key words being "on occasion."

Like I said, J. Forrest is a good player. He's an excellent player. He's not out there by himself. That's all I'm saying. Pretty much that whole first string team is awesoem give or take a couple. They have a lot of heart. A lot of fight in them. I like seeing that in a team...........in a team. These boys need to keep acting like a team and they could go all the way. Keep telling them only one player is any good, they won't keep acting like a team. I think Forrest has a bright future.

Oh, by the way, Liberty's announcer was good to SS last night. Most announcer don't call a game like he did. They just announce. Thanks for the sportsmanship.

I don't understand why SS first string still in there late in the 4th quarter... Liberty played a good 1st half but them 3 fumbles to start the 2nd half killed them. Good game Hawks and lets do it again next week...
