Really not sure what year it was ,but one of those Cyclone teams should have won the state in 4a, Hampton should have won the state in 2a in 96. Cloudlands best shot was 2003,just wasn't to happen. For the size of schools, Cloudland has outdone them all by a long shot. Those days seem to be gone, Hampton is the new kid on the block. They have a ton of starters back next season and their JV,s are undefeated. Cloudland has talent all the way from the 4th grade through the 10th, not really sure if it matters.

That Elizabethton team was from 98. Thats when they got screwed by Maryville in the semifinals... That was the best High school team I've ever seen in person...

You guys may think I'm being envious or ignorant, but I just tell it like it is. I think you all may even make it to the 4th round, but you will get your reality check.

We know KING, you tell it just like it is and how it is going to be, I mean you have been so right so much this season. I really don't think you are envious, really, I don't. I just think you are ignorant. :thumb::D:thumb:

Chuckey doak- 56 hampton- 0 thats all i have to say! im pumped thier goin down at the black hole! wooooo get pumped ;) jk it should be a good game either way. if c-d plays a great game they should beat hampton

Yeah you must have been pumped up in your dreams last night. With or without Townsend, you guys are getting a big beating. Unaka beat you guys by 33, Hampton beat Unaka by 47, thats an 80 point advantage for the 'Dogs. Great confidence but dont get to overwhelmed. If you can only beat West Greene by a TD, theres something wrong. It will get ugly tonight at the Black Hole.

Yeah King, kinda like you did with CAK a few years ago. ;) and kinda like now to huh?

 

Lol good comeback. I guess that loss carried over to the next three years. King, Cloudland is good and they always will be. But act like you guys have been there. I dont why you always think that Cloudland is the top team in the state. Regardless of who they are, you must respect your opponents, such as Unaka and Hampton.

i was just playin i know wat the out come will be tonight! but hey wat can i say i have school spirt! we havent been good at all since ive been here im a junior. basketball and baseball is the only good guy sports at are school. but i hope to see are boys play good tonight! but i doubt it! but i say hampton 38- c-d 15

      Winfree's senior year was the season she needed to secure more college interest. That opportunity was taken away from her. A lot of false assumptions can be made about what happened and what the options are. Unfortunately, the former coach and administration did not allow Winfree to have due process. A lawsuit was filed for a reason, and it will run its course by people who conduct discovery and take depositions. Unless the parties settle out of court, a lot of the pertinent issues will come to the public surface. The real questions are why was Winfree dismissed from the team, and why the administration backed a coach whom they did not rehire.

      What is the hold up here? I have not heard anything in weeks. Are they waiting for the right person or is something else going on?

      Per usual, we'll be hard to beat in the regular season, I'm sure. It's the post season that I'm more worried about, specifically the coaches. Maybe they'll be able to make some adjustments that will keep the momentum in our favor. How's Grays recovery coming along?

      Something don’t add up here a college coach is not going to turn away a good player they need just because they didn’t get along with their high school coach

      RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.
