What are the predictions on Region 6?

 

Will Franklin still be the beast? Look out for Brentwood over the coming years. They Bruins are young but have an excellent group of sophomores and freshmen.

Brentwood will not be in the top three in region six this season

Considering his son is a brentwood Id assume he would be pulling for them. I think franklin will win it again this year and the following year. To many of their studs are only juniors, Konz,Ortiz,Zarbo,and their 171 from last year. Indy will suprise some people as they have in football. And I will go out on a limb and say Kelly Felix will take the region at his weigh. But its just a guess.

dont forget bout ravenwood. Ravenwood has beed 2nd for two years now and has been dominating all other teams besides franklin.

ohswrestling what wiegt class are you wrestling . Ravenwood did not quite dominate region duals . They beat Overton by two or three matches.

i know ravenwood lost thier poorly behaved 160. He was supposed to do well at state but got a tough draw.

Look for Hillwood to surprise people at certain weights, Justin Scott will definitely be punishing opponents. Coach Henderson takes over after Komisar made dramatic improvements with the team in just one season.

i am pretty the ranking will follow like this... Franklin,Overton,Indy,Ravenwood,Brentwood

Watch for Barnes from Ravenwood - he improves with each passing year. Josh does a good job with his program... I know that FHS has to be proud of this alum!

 

Yeah, Franklin has some studs in the barn, but they have some youngsters too. I expect to see about half of their team to qualify for state.

 

Watch Independence, they have a new program and their coach is building a good program. He had some freshman show well last year at the Freshman Grand Championships. They also have a great feeder program with Heritage.

 

Another one to watch is Fairview - again they have a been building up steam and could show well.

 

Haven't heard much out of Page or Centennial. Does anyone have news on them. We will sure miss Coach Pair! There was some scuttle going around that Centennial may not have a full squad this year - does any one know for sure.

 

Joe always brings some hosses in over at Brentwood and he has a bunch of HVAC champs that could really boost them up this year.
