PRIMETIME OWL
A once defeated team leading a bunch of undefeated teams in the poll? that makes a lot of sense... HAVE YOU SEEN MCCALLIE PLAY BIG BOY? RIVERDALE DOMINATED THAT GAME, GO OWLS!
basketballisbest
I don't understand why Farragut would be in this poll. What about Independence? My poll would look like the following: 1. Dobyns-Bennett (7-0) 2. Gallatin (7-0) 3. Ooltewah (7-0) 4. Riverdale (6-1) 5. Smyrna (6-1) 6. Ridgeway (7-0) 7. White Station (7-0) 8. Dickson County (6-1) 9. Independence (6-1) 10. Franklin (6-1) I tend to agree, I would not have put Farragut in the poll myself, but this is how the average of all the other polls on TN 5-A football figures. Just interesting to see. where's the love?
I know everybody loves to project who thier top ten is in the state. In the end, it will all play out and the best team in the state will be holding the state championship trophy. Maybe, the NCAA could learn something from the TSSAA. basketballisbest
HAVE YOU SEEN MCCALLIE PLAY BIG BOY? RIVERDALE DOMINATED THAT GAME, GO OWLS! However, what really matters is what happens on the field--the final score. Yeah, a team can dominate, but the score tells everyone that there was a weakness in McCallie that was exposed, especially with so many points in the last few minutes of the game. Two very good teams. I agree Riverdale dominated, but how in the world can you let a team score that many times in just a couple of minutes? Riverdale lost in the end, that's what goes down in history.
