DII Proposed Changes

"The TSSAA decided in August to have two Division II classes in all sports except bowling, wrestling and track and field. Football is the only multiclass sport with three.

If the proposal passes, MBA and BGA will join Briarcrest Christian, Christian Brothers, Evangelical Christian, Memphis University School and St. Benedict in the west. Eaststate schools joining BA, Ensworth, Father Ryan and JPII will be Baylor, Knoxville Webb and McCallie."

Am I missing something here? I don't see Brentwood Academy listed.

It will be interesting to see the league scheduling; i.e., how many teams does a team play from its side of the division and how many from the other?

I would assume that each region team will play the others. MBA, BA, Ryan will always be a round-robin, no matter if they are region games or not. All it means is there will be some mandated (i.e. region) games that will be mismatches.

Probably the best solution for a bad situation (DII).
