Well what's everyone think? I believe the Trojans will be ready and fired up on Senior Night. The Chiefs may be a little let down after last week but then they may feel they have something to prove. Either way the Trojans will be to strong & deep.

There's always a chance. That's why they play the game.

 

Go Chiefs!! NEVER give up.

No one at West is looking past Cherokee and that is a guarantee!! We take all our games one game at a time. Just like building a house you have to start with the foundation and not the roof. Coach Woods has proven he understands that concept and is able to get the players to play the game on hand.

I can't believe we were winning at halftime. We just fell apart in the second quarter. If it weren't for your great run stopping defense and your runningback, it would've been super close all the way till' the end. good job chiefs.

 

Get in line buddy. It seems like every team that has played Mo West this year has gone into half time on top, but ended up losing in the second half. It just shows that West has the depth and coaching ability to make changes easily, where other teams have players who are constantly on the field and only get rest during time outs.

 

Good job Chiefs, you really held your own for two quarters. Good luck next week!

      I have no idea who your team is, but Memphis and other Shelby Co. schools have hardly made a dent, if you’re talking Game 15 appearances. Outside of a couple by Whitehaven, I can’t recall the last team in a final.

      Robbed you guy at a chance of 3 state championships. You never kne,sond best team in the west my have beat you also,but you sure deserved the chance to play um.

      Eagleville also loses Brown the catcher, Lamb CF, Mclemore RF (Heck of an athlete) and Drew the 1st baseman. They will be young.

      Good thing we aren’t in Florida then huh? It would benefit a ton of the smaller schools  that don’t have the pools of kids to choose from! They should start by policing Shelby County like they do the rest of the state! Something has to change though and TSSAA knows that!

      Correct, you can whimsically be fired in coaching. A coach that has tenure can stay on as a teacher if released from coaching. If you don’t have tenure as a teacher, you can fired without cause. Your last year as a teacher before tenure is earned you can be fired, but must be given cause. A tenured teacher can be fired, but it is a long hard process requiring the 3 D’s…. documentation, documentation and documentation. I have released 3 tenured teachers, 2 with PHD’s. However, teacher contracts had and still have clauses that state you can be fired for a variety reasons re: being arrested, public drunkenness, inappropriate relationships ect.
