Halls hammered LC, so I don't understand how a bare overtime victory by SD against LC translates into a clear win by SD against Halls. They just don't teach thinking skills in the schools anymore.

I've tried throwing some support for Halls from time to time this year, but it's finally time to turn my back on the Devils this week and pick SD! Halls fans haven't been very kind to anyone except their own this year, and I hope that the Cherokees run them into the ground! SD 20 - Halls 10

I definitely know where this is coming from! I have really tried to respect the Halls program this year, including the fans, even though they are going through a really tough transition season. However, just because I'm a Powell fan, I have gotten nothing but crap from a lot of the Halls supporters on here. I have a lot of pride in local high school football, and I always cheer for region 3-4A teams. Just because you are our chief rival, that doesn't mean we can't respect each other. Let's face it, both of our teams have underachieved this year. We are not at the top of this region, and for good reason. I would love to see the Cherokees win simply because I don't think Halls can get much lower this year. Losing to Vanderbilt had the same effect on Tennessee supporters last year, by simply subduing them. Well maybe a loss to SD would do the same to these select Halls fans out there (you know who you are).

Hang in their osunut not all the Halls faithful are that way I think you and Powellfan bring us down to earth and keep us from getting the big head. We are just a little grumpy this year because we didn't make the playoffs but we'll let you have fun with Red Bank this year.
