bulldawg 70
Which one was he? I really didn't see any hard hits by Hampton. He was the one that put a legal hit on yalls qb and made him fumble it
FRIENDSHIPFAN
He was the one that put a legal hit on yalls qb and made him fumble it Actually our QB used his ball hand on the ground to steady himself , and the ball came out. We let the referee's use the Rickaway's yacht and summer home You gotta love this stuff.
defender25
Call the TSSAA and get a copy of the rule book, spearing and leading with the helmet is illegal. Helmet to helmet is not, he was not intentionally trying to hurt the guy just trying to make a play. This is tackle football not two hand touch. This young man is 100% class on and off the field. You are just jealous because your quarterback tired to cut back as time ran out in the first half to make a play and got Jacked Up. Wade deserves to be Mr. Football and is probably one of the hardest hitters in 1A football if you need any witnesses call the Hampton QB. This thread is asking about the hardest hitter in football not the sorest loser. Nice post I think some people call it being... BUSTED IN THE MOUTH, or something like that. Irony at its best
fightingirish
I would have to say Wade by far. The hit he laid on Lunsford was ESPN stuff if I have ever seen any. People from up here say it was Helmet to Helmet even the poor dumb newspaper reporter says it was illegal but where I was standing on the sidelines looked like an old L.T. hit from back in the day. oknative
Goodpasture's #30 Aaron Gillaspie. He set a new state championship record with 18 tackles in the loss to Alcoa. My son plays with him on the team, and say's he "scary". Plays 100% all the time, commits 100% to each and every tackle. As big of a game that Shivedecker had in the game (148 yards and 2 TDs) he'd have had a monster day if Gillaspie hadn't been on the field. The_Waterboy
#31 at Peabody, you might not know who he is, because Josh Holt gets all the attention, but this guy can absolutey knock you out....watch out for him next year when he fills the shoes left behind by Holt
volcamry42
Goodpasture's #30 Aaron Gillaspie He had a tremendous game at the state setting a record for most tackles in one game (Record for State Championship - 18 tackles). I have really enjoyed watching him this year because he seems to always be around the ball.
