stealthccrunner3200
where is region 1 held?
gphstrack
region 1 is held at daniel boone. hands down one of the toughest courses around. it seems like most of the course is slanted pretty significantly from left to right. and then there is the infamous "moody" hill. tough terrain about 6 feet wide with barbed wire on both sides. it's about 300 meters long and you have to run it twice. you feel like your going to fall sideways when running up it. bolchsxc
Region 8 ran at Fayette-Ware Tuesday. Conditions were decent, and times were a little better than expected. Results were..... In Girls, 1. Frayser--34 2. B.T. Washington--42 3. Fayette-Ware--45 very close and competitive meet In Guys, 1. Bolivar--54 2. Sheffield--60 3. Frayser--68 Winning time in the guys race was 17:17 by a Frayser runner (McKinley) with two teammates(Wilkins and Sangster) within 2 seconds of him. 4 and 5 were Bolivar runners(Kessler and Zaller), followed by 2 Sheffield guys(Bland brothers). Westwood, Covington, and Fayette-Ware rounded out the top ten. Congrats and good luck to all those going to the state meet.
thecrippler2222
looks like mckinley isnt quite ready to give up his allstate spot from last year. look for patterson and johnson to both get closer to 1630 once the course is dried up on saturday. the individual race might actually end up being decent, i really wish jackson was in there too. david lipscomb is absolutely unbeatable and i think fra now pretty much has 2nd on lock. let the battle for third begin. looks like it will be between mlk and usjc only. no one else really seemed good enough at region to contend with those
