They will be up later tonight, I have been in Huntsville all weekend and right now I am in Fairview. So once I get back to Martin and do some celebrating, I will post the scores.

I think a few of us from here are going to make the trip to Southern Illinois next Saturday morning for the UTM-SIU matchup. The winner is going to make the trip to Montana in all likelyhood

Ok guys we are down to the final four in 2A, and it seems we have a pretty good idea about 2a football as 36 people at least picked 3 out of 4 semi-finalists. This year's contest is going to come down to the final weekend in the Boro and it will be intersting how it all works out.

Yeah, I think a group of us guys are going to go up there sometime. I think we have a good chance this week. I hope we don't get sent to Montana, maybe Furman can pull of the upset out West. But who would of bet that the Skyhawks would ever be OVC Champs in football.

You are exactly right my man. The program went to shambles when Marshall was the coach. That is where the downfall began. Sam McCorkle was then hired as the head football coach in 2000. His tenure there was terrible wins/losses wise BUT he can be noted for doing something great for the football program. When you drive by UTM and look at that great big 'ole Bob Carroll Football Building that attracts so many recruits to the nicest football facility in all of the OVC remember that is was McCorkle who demanded that facility upgrade from what was at the time known as "the dungeon" in the old football building. Matt Griffin was hired right before Christmas in 2002 and in his three years at Martin he turned the program around by bringing in great recruits and teaching them how to win football games on the field. Jason Simpson has been rewarded this year because all of Griff's recruits are now juniors and seniors and they won last year. This year was the easy part because those guys should have been expected to achieve great things on the field this year. Simpson has led the Skyhawks to the 2006 OVC Championship and to the D-I Championship Series (no longer called D-IAA guys) for the first time EVER!!!

Well we have two teams left and everyone got at least one pick right. We have a tight race going into the final weekend at the buro. But there is sad news for all but two. The top 2 contestants, curiousdave and titans02 have picked different winners. So whoever correctly picks the championship game right will be the winner. Let's hope it is Goodpasture so I can finish 2nd in my own contest.

Sorry Gerry Bertier but we are in a bad situation this week. Titans02 has Alcoa winning, while you and I both like Goodpasture to bring home the gold, HOWEVER curiousdave (who's tied for the lead) also has Goodpasture winning

 

Am I going to have to settle for second place again????? If this were considered the Daytona 500 of Pick 'Em Contests then I'd have to be considered "Dale Earnhardt"

I'll be up near the top once again this year....But I have a question...If my pick ends up happening Alcoa beats Goodpasture, Can I end up as high as 2nd or 3rd??
