I really don't think it matters what kind of football is played. It's just matters whats on the score board at the end of the game. This game won't be close, Region 2 is to strong for any team in Region 1. CAK will win at least by 3 touchdowns. and its not because i hate the rebels its just that our region is just to weak.

I believe that both teams are smashmouth. I guess it depends on your definition of smashmouth. If when someone says smashmouth you think of three yards and a pile of dust, that would lean in South Greene's favor. If you are talking about willingness to lay it on the line, to give it all you got and not back down from your opponent no matter who that may be, then I can only comment on CAK and say that I dont think you will find a group of guys who care about each other and about getting it done as much as these guys.

They will hit the other team in the mouth for the guy next to them. CAK takes a lot of pride in there young program just as South Greene takes pride in theres. Smashmouth, i think both these teams are going to come out and hit each other from the opening kickoff until the final whistle. I think that CAK may have a little more finessee and South Greene may have a little more here it comes stop it if you can.

CAK's D will back down from nooone.

Really good game tonight. CAK played a very good game. South Greene came to play and played hard. The CAK passing attack was very good, the quarterback did overthrow some open recievers but they still looked pretty good. I feel that the South Greene lack of a passing attack really hurt them tonight. They ran the ball pretty well but CAK was able to put more people in the box and shut them down. It was a very good football game hard fought from start to finish.

a smart coach chooses his plays based on what the defense is doing. SG was sending linebackers all night which lead to openings in the secondary so we threw it more. If you guys were playing more pass coverage we probably would have run the ball more. It all depends on the pass-run ratio on what the defense is doing.

I thought it was a good game....Both teams fought hard, a little more jawing than i prefer but it was both ways. Both teams laid some licks, both teams took some cheap shots. But hey, if you ask me that was two teams, neither wanting wanting to loose and both laid it on the line.

CAK's defense looked good. Bend dont break may have been there motto though. South Greene was very athletic up front and very physical.

South Greene was an excellent host and a good place to watch a game.

Lets get ready warriors, They say a tornado wont hit the same place twice, so lets get ready and take it to Alcoa, it will be a fight no doubt about it.

Congrats and get ready for this Friday, All roads to the Blue Cross Bowl lead through Alcoa so go ahead and get it out of the way early.

    • Gleason all over west Carroll in scrimmage. Gleason is big and fast
    • Defending 2A state Champs Westview Lady Chargers are pretty tough. They lost a bunch of production off last year's squad but returned some talent as well. They still McCall Simms, a Tennesseee Lady Vol softball commit as well as solid talent around the diamond. I dont think they are as good as last season but they will definitely be a tough out. Huntingdon Lady Mustangs seem to be pretty stout as well. Don't know much about Riverside other than Westview defeated them earlier in regions. West Tennessee softball is pretty solid all around id say.
    • Eagleville couldn’t catch up to Jones, he did have his location issues but in that game Eagleville popped up everything and the one hit they did have could have been ruled an error. Jeffcoat was a lot sharper in the beginning of the season last year than the end. ER ran out of pitching and still was in striking distance but none the less the better team one. Last seasons tournament was A LOT more balanced and talented. South Pitts starter is a Lefty who was low 80’s but couldn’t maintain his velo throughout the  outing, their #2 was more impressive last year, we knocked him around this year and his mph was down some. Their #3 isn’t bad neither, throws a lot of strikes and sits high 70’s.
    • He actually had a really solid spring.  I could see him getting some backup snaps on offense and be a regular on special teams.  Really athletic kid who can run.
