Golden Tate will represent the East in the All-American Bowl in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida on January 4th. Kickoff is 5:00 p.m. EST. Tate will play receiver. I believe Tate's top schools are Notre Dame, Vanderbilt, South Carolina, and Alabama. The JPII standout rushed for 1,413 yards and 23 touchdowns and he also caught the ball 28 times for 510 yards and had six receiving TDs. Good luck to Tate. :thumb:

I think Seward of the Burro's has better numbers.

Too bad he doesnt play for a private school huh........

Is Tate even Catholic.......I wonder

I am fairly certain you have to be a graduating senior to even go, so it has nothing to do with "private schools". Jaques Seward is only a junior according to the Hillsboro roster. Golden Tate is a senior. Chris Donald is another Tennessee player on the team. Tennessee is turning out some big-time players lately.

Is Donald playing in the All American Bowl as well as the US Army All American Game in San Antonio? Thanks.

I'm sorry, there are now TWO All-american Bowls! Chris Donald is playing in the US Army All-American Bowl in San Antonio and Golden Tate in the Offense/Defense All-American Bowl in Florida. We have to specify now. I didn't know there were now two. This is the first year for the one in Ft. Lauderdale. My mistake.

    • I have no issues with the Karns Middle School program.   Good coaches and he's with the kids he goes to school with.  He's a rising 6th grader who had to play with 6th grade kids last year because Karns didn't have enough kids for a 5th grade age team.  He's in a good place at this point.   My daughter is a single mom with 4 kids under 11 years old.  We help her out with logistics, so staying in our own area right now is important.  Once he gets to high school age, who knows what happens?  That bridge will be crossed when we get there.
    • I know he was a backup but I thought he filled in well when the starter went down. Never a bad thing to have a change of pace back
    • That would be a good get for them. Lowe always finds a way. Pretty sure they have their Rb from last year returning but not that line of beef
    • One school has said it, it was York…who Oneida and many school that played them before we did claimed that they were the dirtiest bunch they’ve played. Riverside didn’t call us dirty nor did smith after they beat us. Ur only dirty if your the one giving out the whoopins.
    • If it was anyone but #8 I would agree with you. Theirs a couple people on that team that probably would. Not him. And I who was standing on the 1st base line fence saw clearly that the boys foot was covering more than half the bag.
