Trojan fans,

 

What are your thoughts on DL after having played them? What were you most surprised by?

DISCIPLINCE WHICH WE HAVE OURSELVES BUT YOUR,EXCUSATION,EXCUSATION,EXCUSATION ! OUR DEFENSE WAS NOT READY FOR YOUR BULLDOZER TYPE OF BLOCKING SCHEMES ! EXCELLANT ATLETES WE HAVE SEEN AND KEPT INTACT ALL SEASON BUT TOTAL DOMIANCE BY DL O-LINE WAS THE KEY ..AWESOME DISPLAY TO SAY THE LEAST ..BUT YOU"LL HAVE TO PLAY AS WELL NEXT WEEK IF YOU ARE TO CAPTURE THE GOLD BALL ..ELROD COULD/WOULD NOT BE BROUGHT DOWN FROM ANY ANGLE HE WAS HIT GAINING POSITIVE YARDAGE AFTER CONTACT.YOU WILL HAVE TO BRING THE SAME INTENSITY THIS SATURADAY IN ORDER TO WIN ! ROLL MUSTANGS!! YOUR PLAYERS,COACHES,FANS WERE A CLASS ACT TOO AS WELL AS THE TROJAN FANS,PLAYERS,COACHES==THE WAY THE GAME IS SUPPOSE TO BE PLAYED !! TROJAN PLAYERS YOU WRE AWESOME AND GRACIOUS IN DEFEAT AND NEVER QUIT AS ALWAYS..IM VERY PROUD OF ALL OF YOU..DHS SENIORS YOU HAVE PROVED YOUR CHARACTER AND RESOLVE MANY TIMES OVER>>LET IT BE THE LIFESTYLE OF A LIFETIME FOR EACH OF YOU :)B) ...DHS JUNIORS,SOPHS COME BACK STRONGER NEXT YEAR AND NEVER EVER,EVER QUIT :thumb::) COACH COUNCE AND STAFF THANKS FOR YOUR NEVER-ENDING PRIDE AND CHARACTER YOU HAVE INSTILLED IN THESE YOUNG MEN>>THANK YOU !! I'm really disappointed the die hard Dyersburg fans have opted not to comment on the game....

KINDA MAKES YOU WONDER DOESNT IT..NO RESPONCES WHATSOEVER??? GUESS THEY "TURNED OUT THE LIGHTS" WHEN THE GAME WAS OVER.. NO CONGRATS TO PLAYERS COACHES FOR EITHER TEAM?? ..YOU WOULD HAVE THOUGHT THEY WOULD AT LEAST SHOW CONSIDERATION FOR THE TROJANS SUBERB EFFORTS THIS YEAR !! :lol:

I know...Especially two of the more vocal,arrogant D-Burg posters..All quiet on the Western Front.....

 

And I will offer my congrats to the Dyersburg team..The Trojans had a great year and made up somewhat for last years debacle,losing in the first round to a 2-8 team..I got to see the Trojans five times this year..I saw their first game way back in Murray,Ky in August and then last Friday nite....They have nothing to be ashamed of,they just ran into a buzzsaw.....They always played hard and gave everything they had... :P

      I believe that was last year. I was interested in the Jones vs Baker comment, so I went back and looked at GC. I am not a fan of either nor am I a baseball guru. This looks like to me the duel was not close and if the errors would not have been made Eagleville would have won. I assume you are a little biased. I do think your mph for Jeffcoat and Baker must be from last year.  Baker-85 pitches 67 strikes. 5.2 innings, 5H, 1BB, 0ER and 7K's. 3 errors  Jones- 78 pitches 37 strikes. 4 innings, 2H, 5BB, 0ER and 1K. 1 error   Adams and the UH kid are really good as well. What about South Pitt and Oakdale? I heard they have some good ones.

      I hate this for all the kids in the program and fans alike. I can't recall of anything like this before in my lifetime but I'm sure it isn't a first. After criminal investigations are complete and the TSSAA looks into this the program it will be facing Nuclear Winter for some time to come. It's always the innocent left behind that end up paying the price for something someone else has done. I'm sure the transfer portal will be very active in Clinton over the summer months. How could you find a good coach worth his salt that would take on a situation like this not knowing what will happen.

      I’ve seen Jeffcoat in person twice and he was 84-87 both times and the one time I saw Baker he was low 80’s, he actually got out dueled by Jones from ER in that outing.
