In conjunction with the Tennessee SuperPrep Conference, HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL DATABASE is compiling an All-Decade Team for the SuperPrep Conference (formerly known as the Super 7 before the addition of Briarcrest in 2005) to recognize the top players from the first ten years of the conference. Results will be tabulated, and honorees will be recognized at a later date.

Wow RRR, now you are making me think. I sure wish we could find a way to see rosters/remember players from that long ago. There will be some players from long ago that will get left out that are deserving. I am even having a rough time remembering the players at BA from the last 10 years. Can folks list their standout players and their accomplishments to help with the voting, otherwise, it will get biased with what we remember........selective retention........I am holding off from voting until I can see others memory joggers. Great idea!

I do not have historical rosters, but would be glad to post them to the site if any school can provide them to assist in the voting.

 

If you click the 2006-2007 State Championships link at tssaa.org, then scroll down and click one of the years under "Past TSSAA State Champions", you will see links to former Mr. Football finalists. That may help some for memory jogging.

I left two blank (can I go back and fill them in?), but what helped me was looking at the coacht prospects that is archived since 2002. My only regret is that I don't have data for the 6 yars before that, so my data is a touch biased towards recent players. Sorry guys!
