David Lipscomb Girls at Coffee Co. Classic

David Lipscomb is to play Saturday 11-25-06 in the Coffee Co. Classic in Manchester. This is Girls only. Boys have the weekend off.

 

JV vs. Coffee County at 2:30 pm

Varsity vs. Tullahoma at 4:00 pm

Varsity vs. Coffee County at 7:00 pm

 

Times were adjusted due to Football team playing in Dyersburg on Friday night. Good luck to both the Football team and the Basketball team!

Whoever talked you into playing. Two games in 4 hours should be fired. Thats a good way to get kids hurt.

They were to play one game on Friday and one on Saturday.

But some of the Lipscomb girls wanted to go to Dyersburg for the football playoff game.

The tournament director worked things out this way at Lipscomb's request.

The girls should be OK, playing two or more games within a few hours is nothing new to them. They played AAU over the summer, went to two team camps, and were at a couple of "play days" within the last few weeks. Hope they all come home healthy.

I agree with Titans Fan. These girls are gym rats. The girls played three games in a day, two Saturdays in a row, just before the season began. David Lipscomb is also very fortunate to have a deep bench. I am just glad everything was able to be worked out for everyone's schedule.

David Lipscomb's JV beat Coffee County's JV by around 30. Lipscomb's varsity beat Tullahoma by 10 and beat Coffee County by less (around 5 or 6). All the teams played really hard. It was great girls basketball.

they did play well but remember coffee and tullahoma are the bottom 2 teams in 8-AAA
