Yeah I reckon so but now I am talkin to you so I dont reckon I am jest talkin to FCfan now huh? How was school today? Ole possumtowner dont want to see you postin on here durin school no more. You should be a learnin!

I posted right after i got outa school :lol: I just wanna tlk about the game i wont say anything bout our k.

These people are quiet over here. Last game we had over 107 pages. Course lot of them were them Hampton people calling us things like rich privates, telling us they was gonna bust us in the mouth, telling us about this big line they had with that one feller that was 6'7" and weighed 360, they told us they was gonna whop us bad. Our little guys weren't scared. They went right out there on that football field and looked up at those giants and said you ain't gonna run that football on this bunch. Why they held them big ole east tennessee boys to 138 yds total offense. Why the east tn boys had a bunch of those 3 and outs. Sure made us proud of our boys. Why we had just 1 running back had more yards than that whole team that was gonna bust us in the mouth. Them east tn boys forgot we done beat Gordonsville twice this year, and they was alot better at bustin peoples mouths than them east tn boys.

We got us some good coaches too yer rite bout that fer sure. Mc and Lowe deserve a lot of credit but ole Atwood, he is a good un to fer sure. They is all good fellers

 

 

They may be good fellers, but compliments alone don't pay the bills. Coach Lowe is more than prepared to be a head coach. He is loyal to FCS, but don't be surprised if other schools don't come a courtin' him. They may be now. People have noticed how well that defense has played this year. And in the past. Insiders know just how valuable he has been to their success. It didn't just happen accidentally.

 

Better get the checkbook out and pay him what he is worth.

We sure like that Coach Lowe. He sure is a goodun, but this ain't the SEC. Don't know how much more FCS could pay him but I don't know much bout that stuff.

      Honestly the A.D. may be powerless at Maryville to some degree versus other schools. I know he has his hands full with GoFan and all the stupid surprises just from the emails he sends out during the season.

      Harriman was better than what I anticipated. They had good skill guys and a QB that’s gonna make a lot of teams look silly. They had some silly pre snap penalties but it’s just spring and I guess that’s expected.    Oneida looks the part. They are big upfront and got a stable of backs that’s gonna carry them this year. They have a few playmakers at receiver also. They have a new receiver that has only played basketball till this year and he is very athletic. The question is can we find a QB to consistently get them the ball. They played 2-3 kids there and none looked great but they didn’t look awful either. The  defense is gonna be tough again but it’s very early and a lot can change between now and the fall.     It was good just to get out and watch some ball. I don’t know if Oneida has the team to win the region this year but just what I saw tonight I think they may be in the conversation come November.
