I heard alot of teams are pretty talented, maybe we all can agree on who are the powerhouses this year. Good luck to everybody.

This Year??????????????????????????

BayouBear said "Soddy will be the best team in the state, maybe the nation." So I'm assuming there was no sarcasim  in his writing, so whose fighting for second? I think that little team up in cleveland that wears the black and gold has finally got their wrestling program headed in the right direction :D So we will put them at the top the next heap. The third place team last year THE FIGHTING IRISH OF NOTRE DAME will probably be way down the list looking up at the third place team (or at least I'm sure in their pea brain minds Beavis and Butthead will think that) Ooltewah will again be strong and maybe Kevin Emilys young Lions of Red Bank. I don't know who returns what from the out of town teams , but I just don't think anyone can compare their teams to Soddy and Bradley, Year in year out they kick everyone's butt, Same way with Baylor and McCallie. Until someone's program really picks it up, we are all fighting for third. Last year people were saying that the Nashville area was surpassing Chatt-a-boggie for being called the top dog of the State. Wasn't even close.

I get tired of hearing"Wait till next year" although next year I believe will be a huge drop off for all four programs with many talented seniors( thank God ) headed off to College

So there's my answer Soddy then Bradley , then a host of wantabes, which includes my Beloved Irish

The Rebels from Williamson Co. may have a little fire power left.

Many may enjoy and appreciate Jordan's upcoming!! Kenwood will spice some things up.

BCB, wait till next year, well maybe not next year,,, but the next few years. Blackman and other teams around Rutherford Co. have a few things developing. We shall all have to be patient for now and let Chattanooga continue to ride off of rich tradition, like middle TN continues to do in football. :)

Congrats to the Bulldogs!!! :thumb:

PS: maybe it will rub off some on our sport of all sports, yet to be completely embraced in our area, but again... things are developing.

Oh, I sense Houston may have some big things coming around the pike as will Tullahoma. Back to Chatt-town,,, I heard Ooltewah has about 70 boys out (compared to Soddy's and BC's 40-50) for wrestling now, so watch the future of this program in Owl territory too.

These numbgers are great in a room .Hope they have a big room or they would have to do practice in shifts.
