You are replying to my post as if I am a Ravenwood fan. I'm not, I'm from Memphis. Read my post again, I never CLAIMED to be a Ravenwood fan. My whole comment was about the lack of credibility to your post. Again, you are clueless.

 

I'm sure the Ravenwood fans will be losing sleep about not being number one on your list. LOLOLOL ... this is past pathetic, it's downright funny.

 

Ravenwood is still KING of 5A .... DEAL WITH IT!

If a team wins the 5A state championship two times in a row explain to me why that team wouldn't be the best team in 5A. The whole point of the BlueCross Bowl is to see which team is the best in the state. Sorry, but your team lost. You can't say they would've/could've/should've won state, beaten Ravenwood, etc. They lost. It's over. Deal with it.

 

In some ways, though, I can understand where you're coming from. I guess I would be a little upset too if I wasn't going to be able to see my team play for the gold ball and was going to be sitting at home instead. :thumb:

I just dont understand how they are the "king" of 5a when they have been beaten 4 times??? Maybe some of those teams werent in 5a but still! Listen i know Ravenwood is a good team and i know they are play for the State title tommorow but when i made this post i was talking about what has happened ALL year long and going by that i truly do not beleive Ravenwood is the best team in the state and i know they arent. Its kinda like this Tennessee killed CAL this year but when Tenn. took its 1st loss Cal was ranked higher than Tenn. why? I mean Tennessee`s scedule is tougher than theirs so why would they be ranked lower than them?? Can you answer that for me???

at the beggining of the season, your exactly right....we were not the best team in the state. but thats not what matters. its how you finish the season. Our team wanted to be the best and they BELIEVED and now they are one of the two best teams in the state. There is no arguing with the playoff results....it is what it is.

Volman---teams have injuries to key players(QB/RB in Ravenwoods case) that can result in losses(see UT when Ainge was injured). Ravenwood lost in OT by 1pt to State Champ, Brentwood Academy then played without those starters in their next 3 games(losses to playoff bound teams, Franklin and Brentwood High). Since having everyone back they are 9-1 including 4 straight playoff wins on the road. Hope this helps in your understanding of their season...I agree with you on the UT/Cal ranking thing.

mucchhhh betttterrr....however riverdale would beat the crap out of hunters lane or white station...neither of those two teams were all that great compared to a smyrna or riverdale or ooltewah...

      Oh yeah, I’m sure you are different people just always on the same thread for some reason, always agreeing with each other, perhaps just a bunch of dorks who would like to ###### and moan about high school football coaches do a lot of other students, so you make a football team and get a yell at them. When they do something wrong, but I’m sure you don’t like that, do you?   and I’m sure I’m aware of where you get information. A teacher who was on the coaching staff but was fired after the new coaching and staff came in and realized he actually had to start taking his assistant job a little bit more seriously than just wanting to make a little extra cash on the side, hardly even showing up to most practices, should’ve left with his buddy to go to Farragut. I’m sure he could get him a defensive coaching job, but I doubt he will be there in three years. Looking at the way Farragut is currently going.

      It may be hard to believe but there’s more people than me that think you guys are a bunch of losers.    I’m sure the coaching staff, yourself included, cursed at a bunch of high school students. Nobody could name more than 3 coaches on staff due to the constant turnover.

      Trez's last scandal has died down, so I guess this is there opportunity to be the best 4A team playing in 2A a la Sissy MTN.  At least they won't be in a Z-district with 1a teams in the regular season.

      Facts...until someone takes down the Rebels they should be the favorite. Got loads of young guys salivating at the opportunity to prove themselves and get a 3peat! Blazer how is Region 1 looking this year?
