Yesterday morning Golden Tate from Pope John Paul II HS committed to Notre Dame. Coach Weis and the defensive coordinator were present when Golden made his announcement in front of the student body at JPII. It was pretty cool. One of the verses in the Notre Dame fight song is Golden Is Thy Fame Congrats to Golden 2009 Heisman Trophy winner???

I've got a friend that graduated from JPII last year, and she said that he is a great guy and an extremely nice, well-rounded person. Best of luck to him, though I wish he were headed to Knoxville!
