FBFan2001
As of this past week, Todd Windham of Hixson was named the new head coach of LFO high school in GA. And as of Saturday, Bo Campbell of Chattanooga Central was announced as the new DC at LFO. Who would be some good candidates for both jobs. GUMP
How in the world can Coach Campbell Leave Central after only 2 years. It seems that he did so much to get the job, that he would have at least stayed two more years so his first Freshman class could have played as seniors under him??? Two bad things hhave happened the way that they have at Central. Coach Jones had that program ready for great things................. FBFan2001
There is more money in GA as a coordinator than as a head coach in Hamilton Co. Plus the talent pool has all but dried up with the athletes going to Ooltewah and Tyner.
Indian
They should change the name of the school to Harrison, it would increase the pride in the community. It was called Central because it used to be in downtown Chattanooga for anyone who didn't know, still have no clue why they "moved" the school to Harrison instead of just starting a new one out there. FBFan2001
I agree. A name change would create pride in the community. But that still would not solve the problem of all the athletes going to Tyner or getting hardships to attend Ooltewah.
GUMP
None of us left while Coach was their. He made sure that the talent was staying at Central.
FBFan2001
Central had one good year in 2003. That's one winning season in how long? They went 8-3 in 2003 and 2-8 in 2004. Where was all that talent? You think it was the coaches fault, but maybe its the players who are the problem. A coach can only do so much if his players don't do what it takes to get better. People think its all about caoching, but the key to being a good team is the dedication to pay the price.
K.Hen
Damon Smith the O.C. of David Brainerd would be a steal if either Central or Hixson could get this guy. He is the ultimate players coach who truly believes in discipline and really knows and loves the game.
bigmoney128
Ken Colquette I hear his name surfaced!!!
FBFan2001
I know it is a long shot, but Gary Partrick at Baylor would be a great hire. He has been a head coach before and I think he could really do well at either program.
