Openings at Hixson and Chatt. Central

Let's forget about the past and talk about our future. I heard that they are in the process of conducting the interviews. Does anyone know who has interviewed? I am looking forward to seeing who will be our next head football coach.

 

Who's applied for the opening? We srcimmaged them 5 years ago and beat the crap out of them in the spring, but they came to us that same fall and played well. They improved from spring to fall 200%. Of course that was under Jones. Campbell came on board shortly after. Both were good coaches Make no mistake about that. Central had athletes then and I'm sure they still do. But why haven't they won resently. The Owls aren't that good, maybe for East Tennessee. We had play in region 4-5A--Riverdale, Symrna, LA, Oakland, and etc. Region 4-5A is the best district in 5A.

I had the opportunity to meet Coach Campbell through the coaching circuit. I wish him nothing but the best. He is a good guy and I hope that everything works out for him. Good Luck Bo from Cannon County.

Any change Warrior2024 may have applied for either one of these openings? I think he would do rather well relating to the students.

Get over yourself everyone in the State knows the East side of the bracket has the Best football hands down and the only reason region 5 & 6 make it to the big dance is for the fact that the West has been very weak for many many years. You did say Riverdale right well if you know your football then they have pretty much held the key for the East Brackett haven't they kinda like Maryville. How many teams won State Championships in all classes from the East? before you even bring up the BA Team knows this BA has lost 5 times in the last 6 years to McCallie in the regular season. IMPO McCallie had the better team and I am sure Coach Flatt knew Potter was the man for the job due to his track record against Flatt. Bring your candy butts down to Region 2 5A and play any of our top 5 teams and I promise you it will be a dogfight for all 4 quarters. Have nice day! Ravenwood could not beat our 4th seeded team WB, Ooltewah also beat the States Runner up in 2005 Oak Ridge only to lose to oooooooooooh another 2 5A team Farragut during the season and then in the quarter finals. Yeah you are right though they’re not really that good just posting 52 & 21 mark in six years.

Again, How many state championships have you guys won? ANSWER 0--Have your Coach schedule these weak teams. I believe Riverdale had started out each season as the number 1 team in 5A except for this past year. The owls were not or will they ever be. Only team to beat Riverdale from your neck in the woods was Oak Ridge. NO ONE ELSE. Riverdale played you 2001 and you got smacked down and symrna WON against you losers by 3. What was the final score? 28-25 Symrna!!!!!!! Who was state champions? Symrna--GO DAWGS. Not some chezzzzzzzy bird mascot called an OWL.
