WHO IS THE MOST IMPROVED TEAMS IN MIDDLE TENNESSEE?

Tell us which teams that you think were flops last year and are lots better this year.

I think one on this list would have to be the Community Vikings. They have 7 wins this year already and that is one more than the entire year last year. On top of that they do not have a senior on the team and are starting an 8th grader, a freshman, 2 Sophomores and a junior

It's gotta be CPA. They have more wins now than they had all of last year. The addition of a 6'6" center has a lot to do with it. The team is in great shape from a vigorous off-season conditioning program. New coach, new style as well.

Cannon Co. I don't think they're winning a lot but the team as a whole is much improved. They will surprise people.

Collinwood would have to be one. They won seven games last year and this year are now 8-3 with an eight game win streak. They are also in first place in their district.

Centennial has to be mentioned here. They've gone from an under .500 team last year to a seriuos region contender this year. Most of that is due to the always-improving play of sophomore Drew Kelly.

Mustang1000- Since you didn't get the compliment that you were fishing for, here goes.

Loretto has always had size and talent. The coaching on the boys side has been nothing short of a joke. Coach Borden has come in and done a great job. They will no longer be a pushover.

Hillsboro. they were 6-20 last year, now there 10-5 and 2nd place in the district. That's largely because of senior guards Travaris Phillips, and Cameron Jordan both of whom didn't play last year.

Drew Kelly is a tough player. Hope he continues to do well.

for riverdale to be 16-2 right now (won 14 straight) after going 16-16 last year i think thats a pretty big jump in the positive direction.

jackson co. is a very good team after going .500 last year they are 13-4 this year with those looses coming to aa & aaa schools except grace babtist that beat them at buzzer have wins over station camp and pickett co two very good teams also wins over station camp,livingston and cookeville and noone in single a has beat them except a 2 point loss to grac babtist

I am just glad that the mustangs are finally having a chance to get something done. you have to admit man2man that coach simbeck just wasn't a good coach. but things are looking up
