At the very least some of the current coaches will have some comfortablity with Cummings offense, Coach Brimer coached it for FOREVER, little Brimer and Anderson have played in it

 

IMO, If someone is hired other than Gut it will be Lamar Brown. Its just an opinion.

Sounds good to me, but we don`t officially know that Brown has applied.

 

Hey, DZ next time you talk to Coach K see if he will answer whether Brown has applied or not, won`t hold my breath though knowing Coach K.

A large number of people in the community seem to think he is the man for the job. Considering he has already interviewed for the job on 2 occassions, the two-man search committee could still approach him directly if they wanted to.

 

I have yet to hear a negative word from anyone about Coach Brown.

Thats what I thought they should have done as soon as the job opened, at least to gauge his interest. In fact I probably would have done that with a few other coaches, saves time instead of waiting for applications to role in. I don`t think you have to ask permission to talk to a coach in HS, WB certainly didn`t with Meadows.

I also heard that the OC at Farragut was interested in the HC job. He played his HS football at Maryville.
