Krich the King is just trying to get your goat! Unaka and Hampton are both much improved teams from six weeks ago. I guarantee that coach Birchfield and his players are not thinking or talking like their KING is. They know that either Hampton, like last year, or Unaka are capable of ending their season at Chuckey Doak in the Regional. I do think that Cloudland will be the one seed in the District tournament. Second seed is huge as it is best chance to avoid the Landers till the finals.

Lady Cyclones will have their hands full with the Rebels tommorrow night. However, if they play with the determination, intensity, patience, and confidence that they did last night, I like our chances.

Krich, they got lucky and had a great game in Roan Mt. The Landers will be better prepared next time around and you'll see the Cloudland team that destroyed Unicoi and South Greene. Do you seriously think the will of a Ranger can contend with the will of a HIGHLANDER? Whooooooooooo!!

I'm second only to God!!! Whoooooooooooooooooo!!

King..........best hope God doesn't read Coacht.....you could be dethroned

Whooooooooooooooooooooooooo now?

Near perfect??? They missed nearly every shot they took in the second quarter, and couldn't rebound worth a flip for most of the game... Near perfect???

What game were you watching Egg? Considering the size difference Unaka did pretty dang good. Like K said there were two bad calls that kept the Lady Rangers from winning that game. One where Sallee was pushed out of bounds and they called her out and gave the ball back to the Landers under their basket and they scored. They other when Brittney went in for a lay-up and someone came out of the middle of nowhere still moving and they called a charge. They also hammered Sallee at the top which cut her eyeball and there was no foul called. So what game were you watching????

That charge call was a load of bull, and I guess they weren't looking when that Lady Lander took a swing at Sallee... But to call their preformance "near perfect" would be an exageration. I honestly think the can play alot better than they did Tuesday.

All three refs saw it happen. Yes they can play better and they will. By what everyone was saying we were not supposed to come within 20 points of them. So I think we proved everyone wrong. I saw Birchfield sweating like Pearl.

    • Biggest position to fill is QB. Kamden was special. A 1A team that can run and pass is very dangerous.
    • That would have been Coach Benjamin who was his legal Guardian and the DB coach.  I was the LB's Coach that was barely older than the players (I was going to UT for school and had started at Greeneville since my Sophomore year when Z coached there and he asked me to help coach)
    • Going on over a month now and still nothing, rumor mill or not I think a decision needs to be made. Maybe they don’t have anyone wanting it and maybe rumor mill don’t need it they are taking this long to come to an agreement.
    • Gibson County proved last year you can win it all with 6 players and if I’m not mistaken they only played 5 in the championship game. I would expect them to be good by end of season but I think losing Hart is a huge loss.  Summer camp gives teams a preview of what to expect and it’s exciting to see where teams are at. The Fillies return 3 starters and the 6th man that is 6’2” and I think she is going to surprise folks this season.
