Any Livingston 2006 Seniors getting looked at?

Was just wondering if any of livingstons 2006 seniors were being looked at by any colleges or if the bad season has hurt them with not getting looked at from colleges.

I believe Holt and Beaty RG went to Tusculum last week haven't heard any details. Both of these players are fine young men and deserve a chance to further their education. Hopefully some college will give them a chance to play and give them a scholarship.

Don't see how w/ the season they had..they went from state champs to one of the worst in the state. What happened there. I know graduating some players hurts but this was one extreme to the next.

Here's how:

Graduation killed LA after the 05 team won the state

 

Plays in the toughest region in the state with 3A powers Fulton.. AE.. and Catholic.

 

Only Holt and Beaty both lineman and FB Reeder had any kind of playing time that returned.

 

Had only 7 jrs with hardly any experience.

 

That leaves the other 60 or so players to be Sophs and Freshmen

 

So the future looks bright for LA.... hopefully we can set the ground work for the future in 07 while trying to have a successful season.

Hey youth (the name says it all, youth) just because you go 1-9 doesn't mean there aren't kids good enough to go to the next level.

Danny McCoin coached the 2006 team and he was head coach in the early 90's for 2 or 3 years. He was off. cord. the last several years. I believe he has been at LA going on 16 yrs.

 

1. Holt has several visit's to make. I believe he told me that UT-Chatt was interested in him. Don't know if it's a full or partial ride.

 

2, Stone as you know will be making their varsity debut this year. I don't think they will have any impact on LA. I believe when 09 rolls around they will be placed in a region with us to my understanding.

 

3. Haven't really heard but my gut tells me that wa will probably come back to the midstate area and join teams in region 4

 

4. Talked to him while he was in for break. He played 2nd team safety behind a sr. so he will probably fill that role this yr. He also said some of the coaches wanted to look at him at receiver.
