The team was not Boyd.

drtreble - Hmmmm, not sure where you are going with this. I looked at the TSSAA website and checked Red Bank's schedule. They have wrestled every team that is on their schedule. I suspect that the team is Boyd Buc and you have stuck your foot in your mouth.

In either case the bottom line is that from what I understand Cleveland called and cancelled the day before a match. The entire team is not injured, they do not have any type of discipline isssues that would keep the whole team from wrestling, and the last time I checked there was not some bubonic plague running through the team either.

Doesn't look good on the Cleveland crew to back out of a dual because of bad blood with a team they were not even going to wrestle. Now there is the alternative suggestion - that Cleveland was not ready to face yet another embarrassing loss???

Way to teach the guys good sportsmanship, discipline, respect, and self control

We added Cumberland,McCallie,Rhea, and Tyner to an already difficult schedual. My young cub has wrestled 50 matches this year whats one more drthimbel you can take clevelands spot if you don't have a problem being around some scary Bears and their Trainer.

Let me set the record straight....I'm not fighting, punching, kicking or pinching anybody. I shot a perfectly harmless low single yesterday in practice and my 145 lb Sophomore layed my eyebrow open with a savage knee. Had to go to the emergency room and get a head full of stitches. Man, I was tapping out before I hit the mat! I'm now officially a passifist..... Peace !

The Legman has spoken and it shall be done. Do you think your wrestlers might be switching to same philosphy any time soon, say by 6 this evening. It is senior night.

    • Harriman was better than what I anticipated. They had good skill guys and a QB that’s gonna make a lot of teams look silly. They had some silly pre snap penalties but it’s just spring and I guess that’s expected.    Oneida looks the part. They are big upfront and got a stable of backs that’s gonna carry them this year. They have a few playmakers at receiver also. They have a new receiver that has only played basketball till this year and he is very athletic. The question is can we find a QB to consistently get them the ball. They played 2-3 kids there and none looked great but they didn’t look awful either. The  defense is gonna be tough again but it’s very early and a lot can change between now and the fall.     It was good just to get out and watch some ball. I don’t know if Oneida has the team to win the region this year but just what I saw tonight I think they may be in the conversation come November.
