bbfan12
I went to the Heritage vs. North Middle game last week. There was a guard on the North Middle team #21 that was really good. I found out he is only in 6th grade. I think he scored 18 or 20 points that night. I don't know his name but he handled the ball well and played good defense. Volzchamps
Aaron Simonis - Southside (Lebanon)- is hands down the best 7th grade player in Middle Tennessee. One of the few kids I know of that has ventured into Memphis during AAU season and more than held his own (dominating at times) on a year-to-year basis. Whats even better is that he's a top notch kid and student!! A true winner on and off the floor or field. Austin Rice (Wayne Co). Can dominate both on the basketball floor or baseball diamond. 6'0-6'1 fast, quick, can leap, shoot, slash & score. Not to mention his clocked 78 m.p.h. fastball from 46'. A humble & talented kid. These are the best 2 in Middle Tennessee at this age level. I'm sure there are many others that are good but you could take these two and win any 7th grade tournament around Middle Tennessee with just average talent around them. They make everyone else on their teams look better just from the crowd of defenders they draw.
FLMS
The kid from North Middle is Jordan Hall he is actually a 6th grader. He made the all sectional team at the sectionals last night. Very good young player that has a lot of experience. AAU has really been a big part of his development playing a 100 games a summer for the raging rhino's. SouthwindScorpion7
trust me as I am the team as an alternate some of the best teams in the west are by no means a pushover if thats what you're trying to say. The West has almost no representation on this board though.
