Barrett really impressed me with his tenacity and quickness off the ball. He made several key tackles and got some attention from opposing players. I hope he is working hard in the weightroom. I could see him making a huge contribution on the Dline next yr. Wasn't he one of the boys over 300 on bench?

He is working pretty hard in the weightroom. He and Elrod work out together and there is always someone lifting weights.

Both kids are real serious about the game. Working out with a competitor like Elrod can only make Barrett better.

I know someone who knows the Barrett kid and they said he weighed in at home at a little over 290lbs and he looks taller than 6' to me. But I am just guessing his height. Anyway I saw him in practice afew times last year and he is a real load coming off the ball. He gave the O-line fits in practice. I noticed he really goes full blast all the time.

Yes . They timed the 40 a few weeks ago and I was told a few of the players times in the 40 and Barretts was 5 or 5.1. I heard this from a reliable source.

dude those 40s are slow how much do these boys way. smyrna line is very fast and strong.

king-4.72 allen-4.8 rofrano-4.75 eady-5.0 and the new boy dakato runs like a 4.8 so get big oakland

are yall taking steroids .......how do yall go from running between 5.6-6.1 all the way down to a 5........thats messed up...............tony b was running a 6.2 before the season started

I'm not sure about Elrod, or Bowen but I know for sure Barrett weighs close to 290lbs .
