Will be a close competitive game just like last time. DC is going to have to start hitting foul shots before tournament time rolls around. I heard their shooting was terrible against York in the 4th and thats why the game went into OT.

This game should be really good. I've been waiting for this one a long time. The student section is gonna be ready boys and I'm sure Dekalb will be too. Last time it went into overtime and Dekalb won a close one. Cannon gets their revenge in this one and wins. Hopefully no one gets thrown out this time ha!

Both teams better be hitting free throws, because if this is a normal Dekalb-Cannon game it might come down to that. It is also senior night so I would suggest getting there plenty early for a decent seat.

One more thing. Doesn't the outcome of this game affect 7AA tourney seedings?

 

I think this is right: If Dekalb wins they go to 7-5 and move to third place..... If Cannon wins they stay in 7th place and Dekalb goes to 6-6 and into a tie for third with York and Macon County. Look at the win/loss rankings and correct me if I'm wrong.

The game is at Cannon County on Monday, February 12. As far as your standings go I'm pretty sure that this is correct.

      Richland plays at McKenzie on Wed.  Should be a good series.  Does Richland have good pitching?

      Congratulations to the Warrior baseball team winning the Region Championship.  Last night the football team beat Franklin Co 33-0 in their spring scrimmage. Warriors looked very good. Missing a few players who were playing baseball but still absolutely dominated. A lot of young ones got in halfway through the 3rd when the score reached 33-0. QB Tilton Pickett looked very sharp.  Sam Pickett is on another level this season. Seems to have put on 15 to 20 lbs in the off season and added a step as well. Transfer from last year Williamson caught numerous balls and is very elusive. Lots of athletes on this team. Defense was smothering and will only get better. The head coach from Sewanee was in attendance and offered 2 kids after the game. Could be a special year.
