Lincoln Co, Lawrence Co and Coffee Co are 7-3. Tullahoma and Shelbyville are 4-6. Franklin Co is 4-8 and Columbia is 3-7. If the season ended tonite, Franklin Co would host Columbia in the play-in game. Friday and Saturday, Lawrence Co plays Shelbyville, Tullahoma plays Lincoln Co and Coffee Co plays Columbia. Franklin Co is through with district play. Congrats to Coffee Co and Lawrence Co for sweeping their opponents and keeping pace with Lincoln Co. Its going down to the final games in the battle for the regular season championship. If the district were to end in a 3 way tie, I'm not sure what the tiebreaker rules are right now. I'll try to find out.

Every school in District 8AAA has a bye week. Since there are 4 distict dates for the last week, Lincoln Co has a bye for the Monday and Tuesday games and Franklin Co has a bye for the Friday and Saturday games.

I know it's still early, but did you have any luck on finding out the tiebreaker rules?

First tiebreaker is obviously head-to-head....after that it goes to best record against the next highest seeded opponent....

Things could get interesting. Lincoln, Coffee, and Lawrence all split with each other. Going into this weekend's games Lincoln's other split was with Columbia, Lawrence split with Franklin Co, and Coffee split with Shelbyville. Depending on the outcomes this weekend, there could be ties all over the place.

Coffee county lost to Columbia 6 to 2. Play at home tomorrow at 11 am. Must win for Coffee County!
