Cloudland is District Champions!

WOW have times changed. When i used to live in Northeast Tn back in the 90's and early 00's these two schools hated each other. I think that IIRC they had some great scraps on the football field, even one resulting in a near brawl. I thought that they were 2 county rivals that had respect for each other, but also a deep dislike. Lunsford was the coach in FB at CHS and of course Coach Campbell was at HHS. So how did this alliance come about.......

The alliance was created because the joining of two great bodies would further our progress in becoming state powers. We will always compete hard against each other, but it is different now. We will compete to make each other better instead of competing to destroy each other. We feel that our schools think, act, and almost look exactly the same. We are the same people only separated by 10 miles. If Hampton wins the Regional championship, then they will be backed 100 percent by Cloudland fans. I know they will do the same. We are swiftly becoming one body.

im glad we dont need an alliance to win a ball game. the district championship only shows the outcome of one game, lets not forget who won the regular season championship. and if you guys from cloudland and hampton want to come watch us play clinch saturday, we might roll up in some dickies overalls and carhart jackets to match you all. maybe we could join "the alliance" haha.

Its a good thing they don't, because no one would want to be in one with them. Nobody likes a bunch of stuck up, spoiled brats who thinks that they are better than everyone else.

That condescending attitude is exactly why everyone wants to beat you. People can handle a team winning, but no-one likes being looked down on, and University has had that going on for years. I talked with Cloudland people who where at Brooks for the UH game, and they were livid at what was chanted at the end of the game: Go home rednecks. How classy is that?

Your right that wasnt classy. How classy is it that yall bash us and our coach and you dont even know us. So come on now. That was our fans. Our players have nothing to do with what they said. As a matter of fact our players didnt like it and they told them to cut back on the chanting. We dont know you so that was wrong for our fans to say that because yall havent said anything that mean that i can recall.

i would be interested in purchasing an alliance t-shirt. i mean afterall we are taking over the county in our carhartt coats and dickie overalls. maybe you could like make the alliance t-shirt blue and have the word blue on the front in light blue and alliance on the back in yellow... that would be pretty sweet, and i can promise you at least three sells... that would be me lordvader and king, afterall we are the founders of the blue alliance. good luck to hampton and cloudland in the regionals!
