This was a fun game to watch. Sequatchie did a great job considering the refs certainly did them no favors.

Ditto, the crowd was intense, the coach was intense, the players were very intense, and at the end when the students stormed the court it was really great. I think Sequatchie County can still pull themselves further.

Big thing is they kept their composure. After getting down 24-14 after one, after having one of their top players get in major foul trouble in the first half, and having a lot of calls appear to go against them, they kept playing hard, made adjustments, ended up taking the lead with about 3 minutes left in the game and then hit their foul shots at the end. McKinnon scored 24 and is a really, really good player but they held her to 6 in the second half until she made a three with a second left in the game. She had 11 in the first quarter and it looked early as if she was headed to another 40 point game. You know when you "hold" somebody to 24 they're pretty good. Seq had a lot of players do well in all areas and foul shooting was great again.
