I think they key for Oakland tonight is to play with control, even if they are pushing the ball at every oppurtunity, we make too many mistakes when it is an all out up and down the court affair, Oakland needs to find a tempo that suits them and settle into it. Oakland seems to do pretty well against smaller, quicker teams by using our size and defense to dictate the game. I feel pretty good heading into this game, but if Oakland doesnt bring it, they'll be watching the state tournament instead of playing in it

If Oakland has a tendency to run into trouble playing fast, you better watch out tonight. Red Bank likes to force tempo. Sometimes it is a double-edged sword for the Lions, but they will not sit back and let their opponent dictate the game's pace. If Oakland can impose their will on Red Bank, they will likely win comfortably. If Red Bank can pressure the Patriots, they will win the game. Either way, it should be interesting and exciting. I'm wishing the Lions the best of luck!

I think if Oakland is forcing turnovers and converting them into fast break points and doing well in the halfcourt, thats their tempo, a mix of halfcourt execution and shutting down the passing lanes on defense and to try to create turnovers, which in turn, lends itself to a uptempo game. Oakland doesnt have a tendency of getting into trouble playing fast, but there is a difference bewteen uptempo and just playing too fast, we've only done that in a few games, so I feel pretty good that wont be the case. Its so hard to press Oakland, because they essentially start 3 point guards, Oakland has had their games where they are careless with the ball, but it hasnt been as of late. I think a big factor tonight will be Oakland's size, Oakland plays 4 guys that are 6'4 or taller, whereas Red Bank's tallest player is 6'3
