QUOTE(creatine @ Apr 11 2007 - 09:44 PM) 826435383baylor girls will win state due to the fact that they have two amazing sophores; ellie dyer and conley crimmins

This is the first year Baylor has actually qualified for state in a lonnng time. Probably 5 years. GPS annihilated them 9-0--props to the Bruisers. They will be back to back state champs.

QUOTE(TNtnns_07 @ May 16 2007 - 07:25 AM) 826460115tennessee high's girls team should win state this year. they have alot of depth this year with two freshmen in the line-up. one playing #2 and one #5

Houston is by far the best AAA team, wont even be close. Farragut is better than Tennessee High. Last time they played Farraguts #1 wasnt there. Farragut is the favorite in the match Thuirsday,

TN High girls beat Farragut 4-1 but changed their lineup a lot from previous loss. What is their real lineup? Are they stacking?

QUOTE(TNtnns_07 @ May 20 2007 - 10:21 AM) 826463351Their line up is

#1- Laura Pearson

#2- Courtney Conley

#3- Meghan Buckmaster

#4- Caitlin Conley

#5- Blake Thompson

Thompson beat Courtney 1 and 0 last summer

Caitlin the older sis is at 4 and the freshman sis is at 2

Pearson played 5 earlier in the season and at Rotary

looks like stacking to the outside observer

How is that not stacking?

If THS plays Siegel's girls they will have a tough match. I expect to see Siegel girls lose to Houston in the finals.

    • The golf preseason came to a close Friday at Indian Hills as the I-24 Invitational hosted by Rockvale was contested. Webb School won the title by 13 shots 295-308 over Rockvale. Rockvale girls won the title by five shots over Providence  Christian 155-`160 after the Lions won the 1913 Invitational at Johnson City by 10 shots over Greeneville. The course was wet and muddy in the morning but the rain finally broke and some good scores were had. The Webb School boys had Phet Phothong score a 69 while Carter  Burks shot 70 following up his 72 in Johnson City on Monday. The girls had Solia Mechling of Rockvale lead the way with a 73 in taking the title as they improved their score by 30 shots over Monday in East Tennessee as they found the homestead Indian Hills to their liking.  Rockvale and Central Magnet will head to the Battle of Hermitage on Wednesday July 31st. On Tuesday Stewarts Creek and Smyrna will do battle at Smyrna Golf Course  with an early tee time of 11 AM. The next day Oakland, Webb and Nolensville will tee off at Champions Run beginning at 9 AM. Eagleville will open on July 29th heading to Lawrenceburg and the Country Club awaiting host Lawrence County and several other teams to tee up the regular season. The season will end in October at Sevierville when state champions will be crowned.
