I have heard that the principal has not only let the football coach go but has now fired the basketball coach. What is up with this guy? Is he some kind of loose cannon?

Well seems that way from outside doesn't it.

It was the girls basketball coach that was fired this year. The boys coach passed away right after the season ended last year. However, in the last two years Mr. Lang has "appointed" new coaches in the following sports:

 

Football--twice---fired two coaches in two years

boys basketball

girls basketball

Wrestling--twice---both previous coaches left to go to other Metro schools

baseball

softball---twice. both coaches left for other schools

boys track

girls track

golf

volleyball

 

There has also been a different athletic director each of the last FOUR years.

 

Only soccer and tennis has kept the same coaches in the last two years
