So MO$$$$ are you saying it did or did not happen? Whose chain got yanked?

 

 

I am saying "I heard" is not solid and he could have got a chan yanking. If it is true its going to be difficult to prove if they remain slient. You know theres a mafia. But look how long it takes to prove whats going on, With enought to convict. I am sure any tactics being used is carefully thought out and boils down to someone will have to be a rat to break the complex scheme. If they reruit they have to have a scout. Cant coach and scout at the same time. Work on that theory. When you find out who the scout is, you are still behind. Think he will admit it? I know a private school scout. But I cant prove it. May use the same one, Who knows. . But he wont fess up to it if confronted. Maybe when he retires and writes a book on it, the story will be told. Until then good luck proving anything.

I really dont feel like reading the last 5 or 6 pages of this, but are there any new developments or just same old stuff?

 

BTW the earliest we will hear anything from the TSSAA is August. The Board of Control only meets about four times a year, but it seems that they do meet in August most years. I am not sure of the exact date though. On the TSSAA website they list the Agenda and Actions taken from every meeting here is a link to that. http://www.tssaa.org/BoardofControl/bocact.htm

Wasn't Kell on staff during Temple's spring practice? If so, would he not also be held responsible if kids participated in Temples spring practice who were not supposed to? I mean would he not realize that some of the kids in pads were not Temple students?

 

 

 

Come on Silverdalefan. Listen to the silence from Temple. I can hear crickets. You really think they are going to feed you any useful information?

Seems like a good hire for Temple if it is true. They werent gonna get anyone better. I firgured they were gonna have to hire a coach dad for this year. Wonder if he has any sons who play...

 

I don't think he has any sons who play. I don't know why he would want to coach at Temple. Doesn't pay well, very few athletes, poor practice field, etc. Don't know why he's drawn to the program but I'm glad he is and hope the rumor that he might be the next head coach is true.

If you look at Temple's website at thier football section, they list Chip Kell as an "advisory"coach. What does this mean?

 

They also said on their football banquet page that Kell was returning as defensive coordinator.

 

If these two things are correct that he was a returning coach for this year, then he would have to share the responsiblility with Coach Chastain if there were illegal players at spring practice. Chastain is not the only one who should get the blame. Would this not be a problem for him/Kell being named head coach if Chastain was fired for this?

Worst job in the state. They could not do any better. Temple deserves credit for the hire if its true. Although he may only be there for one year.

      I havent kept up with Keeton since he went to Oakland, so hearing he is in a BOE role now, that may trump him coming back.  Rennard on the other hand. That dude is a Man Builder! And he was cut loose this spring from Scotts Hill. Heard him in a interview a few month back and he inspired me. He needs to be back home in the Purple & Gold, regardless of if he is HC or not or even if he doesnt coach at all, his presences will improve the environment. But Again, I have no clue if he would even be interested.

      Shoulders from Macon co.  A creasy protege. Has the best coached team in the area as of late. Not much shot to win a state title at Macon but could very well be a contender with the talent coming up through the peewee and junior high ranks in TC I hear. He my dark horse candidate. trousdale co fans could also brag to their neighbors that they talked their best coach into coming to TC on a year of such high expectations at Macon co. My dark horse candidate

      The baseball field is the baseball field. There are no clear favorites. It is a central location so that is why it is the site. This gets talked about every year and it is always the same answer.
