QUOTE(shoehp @ Apr 1 2007 - 11:00 PM) 826427927Did not look the same team without Cody in the Mo West game. The lack of depth is their weekness, they will need to avoid injuries to continue like this.

Cody must be a pretty decent player because I thought Mo West was easily the better team against Knox West. They controlled the ball, made nice crisp passes, and won most of the 50-50s. They had several chances to score another goal or two but couldn't finish.

Cody is alright..not a game changing player. I play him in travel and he really is not a player we would think about worrying about but he is definitely not bad

QUOTE(THE ANSWER @ Apr 1 2007 - 06:39 PM) 826427713Knox west is a Really good team this year and they proved it this past week.

i really wasnt impressed by knox west when we played them in the first game of the season. 1st off they should have killed us. it was clinton by the way. they def struggled to score when we had three starters missing and only one of our returning starters from last year playing. we didnt have sean glenn our gk playing and we still held them to 3-0. dont get me wrong they are good but they didnt impress me.

I don't think you can compare Catholic's and USJ's schedule. That is my only "beef" with the ranking. USJ may very well be a top team, and has just as good of a chance of winning the whole enchilada as anyone else, but Catholic has 5 games with top 10 opponents, including AAA and Division 2 teams. USJ has 1 (though as mjuhb said, one of the Alabama teams was ranked in 5A)

Part of the problem may be location. I am sure it is hard to schedule some of the opponents you want to, if you have to travel a far distance. I'm not familiar with the location of USJ to some of the schools around it.

USJ will prove itself. If they are the program I think they are, they will be making a trip to Murph. in May. Good luck.

QUOTE(StateChamps07 @ Apr 2 2007 - 10:15 PM) 826428616big surprise here...was this with or without moorad?

It was with moorad his speed killed Ryan's defense. But 20 minutes into the game Father Ryan got a pk which would of had Father Ryan up 1-0 but they hit the crossbar. At halftime the score was 2-0 Ravenwood and Father Ryan didn't score until there were 5 minutes left.
