Who does Red Bank scrimmage this year in the spring? I know hixson scrimmaged Sequatchie and only won 14-0. Rhea plays Knox Catholic next Thursday and this thursday is the Green and Gold Game. Cleveland I heard who they play but I didn't hear when.

From what I understand, Knox Catholic has a bunch still involved with baseball & track.

Hey man were not scrimmaging anybody untill summer i dont beleive because all are players were in track and baseball...

Ok I guess just have to wait until the summer to watch Red Bank. We got a few players too who are still in track, but I think Big Mac will be at both Scrimmages.

Talking about state already? Please, RB hasn't been to state since they had a future UTK number one running back on their team. Even back then they didn't have to go through maryville. It's quite immature to talk of state, region four-AAAA is competitive enough, but when it comes to play off time, any 4-4a team is fighting an uphill battle.

My team should go all the way this year with a easy region title and now we know what to expect from maryville we should have no trouble we will be ready.

To be the best you gotta beat the best. That means you need more than a gadget pass play and a fumble recovery near the goal line. OH , and you should try to get past midfield sometime in the second half.

I have to admit......I got a good laugh reading this thread. To the Red Bank boys that were absolutely destroyed by Maryville last year, here is a bit of news for you. As good as Maryville was last year they will be even better this year. Your enthusiasm is to be commended but your realism is laughable.

 

After a couple of freak plays for Red Bank Maryville forced 9 three and outs. You give George Quarels the ball 9 straight times without scoring and Maryville will beat your brains out.....and that's what happened.

I remember where Gerald Riggs high school football career ended. I believe it was on Jim Renfro Field in Shield's Stadium on the campus of Maryville High School. Red Bank had just moved to 4A after winning the 5A title the previous year and caught a beat down at the hands of the mighty Rebels. Maryville went on to win another title and Mr. Riggs went on to dissapoint. I will never forget Carl Stewart driving Riggs straight into the ground at the goal line. Absolutely halarious!
