I think Webb just has more punch on offence

Having seen both teams play, Catholic will take this one by at least two goals. First they beat CAK after Webb tied them and just like they have in every big game Webb will come out flat and not play the first 40 minutes; they're overconfident. Webb has a fairly solid defense but lacks severely in the midfield and has one decent forward in Alex Hutchins. Catholic is more solid in the midfield and should control the game from start to finish. Even though it's a big rivalry game it won't be close.

Wow...to say that Webb is over-confident is so off base. They are a very humble team that has come a long way from last year. They have come together incredibly this year and now they have alll their starters back from injury. Don't throw down on a very classy team. On the otherhand I am not saying that Catholic is bad. I think Catholic is the number 1 team in AA/A and they are a terrific team. Catholics players all put out 100% effort the whole game as Webb does too. This should be one of the matches of the year!

 

I say this one will end up either 1-1 or 2-2, good luck to both teams

Wow..What do you have against Webb? Maybe you don't have anything against them and just think that because Catholic beat you they should beat a team that you tied. Am I right?

I think you can throw previous records or results from this season against other teams out the door. This is Webb vs. Catholic. A true neighborhood "brawl"; the other "Battle of the Bluff". There is so much history between these two teams, that it doesn't matter that they aren't playing for anything but pride (since Catholic is now in A/AA and not D2) They will both be pumped for this game. I just hope they have a good ref, cause this one will be played hard!

 

Two of the top teams in TN. Should be a great one.

Only catholic kids would talk about how webb is overconfident and say that they are going to win by a good 2 goals and that webb really doesnt have anything special. . seems like they like to create a situation that is only a losing battle

jdr i dont really think you have a whole lot to back up those generalizations. i guarantee that both teams play extremely hard for 80 mins; Webb v Catholic is one of the fiercest rivalries in tennessee. also, webb has plenty of talent and stability in the midfield from players like marvin and stein so i'm not really sure what you were talking about there. you might want to know a little more and get a few more posts under your belt before coming out with something like that again.
