webb is a great squad. bearden's size will definately help them out on this one. webb has been known to suprise though (win over catholic.) i'd say 2-1 bearden. walker is just too good. and on the marvin subject...i played club with him for several years. he is not a dirty player, he can be chippy at times, but overall he is just plain aggresive. everyone gets heated sometimes, he shouldn't be classified as dirty for 1 games showing.

first of all, webb is undefeated. i think that speaks for itself when you say they are overrated. and second, this means nothing. state is all that matters. rankings are thrown out of the picture.

Not at all actually. Webb is a very strong team, with a great offense. Catholic just has too many subs. In my opinion, that will be the factor in this game. Anything can happen in this rivalry though.

I think Carter definately deserves a bid in the top 10. Alcoa is a great squad with alot of talent and passion, but Carter did beat them this year.

CAK has a whole heap of talented sophomores. Doug Leidle, Philip Chesney, and Zack Propes are all contenders.

shoehp, may i ask how you were disappointed with CAK when they scored one of your goals? you may have came out on top, but they must have played you tough if they had you 1-0 and then scored an own goal, and then you scored a scrap goal in the box...am i wrong?

well, correct me if i'm wrong, but i believe west played 5 games in 6 days last week, and did very well in each game. they may not have depth, but i know they do have fitness.

if the game is at west, west already has a huge advantage. i think if the game was at webb, the outcome would be completely different. when we played west, the basically played for the thrown in most of the game, which is a good strategy on their field. but a wider field would definately limit them.

ND was easily one of the worst displays of sportmanship i have ever seen. They would go in late after every tackle, even when the ball was on the other side of the field they took cheap shots on catholic players. The ref basically lost control of the game. congrats to catholic on a well fought game.

very true hoya. you also have to remember that there are 11 players on the field, not just one (even if it is tarr). Itsallabouthegame, I did hear that the reffing was very shady, i hope your college career goes well at louisville though.

i DO believe CAK won state last year Hchskepper. That "K" in CAK stands for knoxville by the way...they've won it the past 3 years. Just so you know.

farragut is a strong team and the aer pretty young. seeing CBHS's scores this season, including their 4-0 win over bearden, i think they will beat farragut 2-0.

i think that the player does deserve some sympathy, but his mother took it to whole new level. she needs to learn to let her son learn things on his own, or he never will. if you never get to learn things for yourself, then you will never experience anything. any other opinions?

I agree with Big G on this one. I think that the additions of Catholic and Notre Dame will make this season a very exciting one.
