USJ takes it, maybe even run rules GP. GP is a good team, but the USJ team is one of the best ever. They were too conservative coming into this tourny. After a loss, they come back hungry, scoring 42 runs in three games. Their hunger has not been met yet. If GP had Darnell and had not faced so many innings the past few games, it might be a different story.

You did ask for opinions.

Good luck and have a healthy game to all the players and fans. /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

QUOTE(mcfan10 @ May 24 2007 - 11:01 PM) 826466578[/snapback]If Goodpasture has any talent, they will win. I saw USJ twice this week and they looked very beatable.

Any team is beatable on any given day. Both teams are beatable. Last year Covington came out of the losers bracket to win it all, by beating USJ 9-1. Which game did USJ look beatable was it the 18 to 5 loss? Goodpasture is in the final game so yea they have talent, but so does USJ. Dont count USJ out yet!!! GOOD LUCK BRUINS!!! /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

The most awsome catch that I have seen in High School, it would have made ESPN. Rebel come and root the Bruins on to Victory!

    • there will be a couple of teams, that could make some noise
    • Dyersburg may win back to back to back championships. They are going to be hands down the best 3A team. Plus their District/region/sectionals are not very good. They basically just have to make it to region out of a 5 team district that has a few decent teams. South Gibson will be okay but they graduate their best player and there is nobody in the region 7 or region 8 who is going to compete with them.
    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
    • Hoping to make the playoffs.
    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
