tnsddeveloper
Bartlett and USJ are both going to be wicked awesome next year considering the youth on those teams!

basketballfan123
franklin should be back next year with them losing only 2 starters and have all their starting pitchers returning. plus joseph will be a senior next year meaning this should be his big year with more than his 14 home run season this year. watch out for franklin in state again for AAA

baseball'smygame
The way things are set up now I would say it will be a all private school finals in A and AA. Public schools just dont have the resources and talent pool that the private schools have. I saw Goodpasture pay in the regional tournament the past 5 years and this was probably the weakest team they have had with their ACE going down to injury but they still walked through the AA tourney. Privite schools should have to play AAA if they are going to play in the public pool!!!!!!!!!

Goodpasture did not have a walk in the park...a walk in the park is a game called on runs in the 5th...not 11 inning games like they had, twice. And a walk in the park is not a 9 inning championship game win...who knows whether it will be a private school finals, but it will not be a walk in the park for anyone. davidlimbaugh
Last year the A game was Forrest vs Mckenzie and the AA was USJ vs Covington I guess last year the private schools had the complaint????
back@home
Really does not matter year or complaint, they should be in there own league and would if not for politics. It is not fair ground, especially for smaller schools, A and AA.
BaseballthruNthru
Who has the best team returning for next year? Just wanted to remind everyone what thread you were under.......
73choctawqb
I have a strong feeling that Dyer County will be back. Only lost 3 active players, pitching will be strong & deep as well. We will have to fill first base, second base & third base (Kyle Hinson, Drew Thurmond & Chase Pilkenton). There is a lot of young talent to fill those shoes though. IMO the Choctaws will be back. They held the "State Champions to the fewest runs in the entire tournament & went 11 innings, with an error between the winners & losers bracket. What a game ! I'm bettin' on D C to return. /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

I know some private schools that are very weak in certain sports and some public 1A schools that are powerhouses. If privates have all of these built in advantages, why are there exceptions ? I think that dedication, hard work, and the desire to win can take an average group of athletes to the top, private or public. BTW, strong teams next year from the west - 2A Dyer Co., USJ, Bolivar 3A Bartlett
