Why/How would TSSAA cancel your matches/scrimmages???

if we would have played tonight we would in violation of the new scrimmage rules

but see if we would have played at the same playday with our jv there wouldn't be a problem

sense we were at different events those count has our 2 scrimmage dates

No apology necessary, I am just glad that your coach called and that you guys won't have any TSSAA problems.

We are certainly familiar with situations like that!!!

There are a lot of people on here that have posted schedules that list more than 4 scrimmages. I hope that they know all of the new policies.

I have no idea.

I also don't live in the Knoxville area, and I don't have any opinion about the best schools and/or best club teams (we've certainly heard enough of this). The suspicious auditor in me, however, wonders if this email was truly from a dad moving into the Knoxville area, and wanting the information he stated. I've seen people on the boards pretend to be somebody else just so that they can ask a question that they (under a different name) answer themselves (as a way to promote a certain school/team/position). If he truly is the innocent questioning dad he stated he was, I apologize for my suspicious nature....

The two girls did indeed decide to attend Farragut High School.

    • While I appreciate being credited with multiple accounts, I have to say that is not true. Will you please report back to your people that I am not someone who provides sharp, witty banter, but rather someone who is putting the shoe on the other foot for some people that have been repeatedly bashing others here and in real life for the past few years? Everything that I have stated has been backed by factual evidence or public record, so no need to be sharp and witty.
    • Yes this process is moving slower than I would have expected
    • also was told coady auston applied, he served as defensive coordinator for greenfield under don pitt several years ago before going to Obion county
    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
