I am having trouble uploading a custom avatar.....I removed my old one and now can't upload anything but the ones offered by the site..I tried to upload my old one,without any success...HELP!!!

Check to make sure the image is not too big. I was just able to add an image that was under the size limit.

I had the same problem. The got the error message -

 

"Sorry, an error occurred. If you are unsure on how to use a feature, or don't know why you got this error message, try looking through the help files for more information.

 

The error returned was:

The upload failed. Please contact a member of staff to help rectify the problem"

 

I am attempting to download a 8.23 KB JPEG file.

I was having the same problem but I thought it was something that I was doing wrong at first. I kept trying and it finally worked. I believe the site is having some issues. I have even had some problems logging in recently. Today there was no problem.

I think we fixed the login problem and we thought we had the avatars working right.

 

Is anyone getting an error message when you try to add an avatar?

mine is saying it was added but it has not changed

FYI. I am having the same problem today tried 3 different files all less than 15 KB JPEG's including the "jinxed" SF Giants cap.

Still having the same problem....My pic size is 6.2 KB...Shouldn't be a problem??....

I can't change my personal picture on my profile page either.....It's well within the 100 KB and 150 x 150 pixel size limit......

I'll be honest...I can't even figure out how to upload a picture. I dont see a button or anything to upload one from my computer. The only thing I can find is going to the pre-selected ones

I think you might have to be a plus member to upload your own (i think). if not just look for My Controls at the top of your screen click it then look in the left side of your screen and find Edit Avatar Settings click it. then you will see browse click that then your on your own from there. Good luck

I dont think so, because 3 ppl on a thread I am on have avatars and do no have coacht+. I can get to the edit avatars on profile, just can't figure it out from there.
